Sweets and Treats opened for business in the historic village of Richmond in 1985.

The emphasis has always been on providing old style lollies and treats with good old fashioned service. The lollies are displayed in rows and rows of glass jars and cheerfully weighed out by request.

We specialise in sourcing our huge range of sweets from all over the state, the country and the world. There is a good variety of sweets made right here in Tasmania, including Esmeraldas, which are totally unique.

Another thing Tasmanians can make really well is Icecream. We offer 22 flavours of icecream and sorbets served in crisp, fresh cones or cups. Our favourite is the new Turkish Delight made just for us. Our girls also make the best Deluxe Milkshakes.

When the shop expanded in 1993, we were able to offer a delicious alternative to all those sweets by adding a Hot Nut Bar to cater for a more savoury palate. Choose from a changing range of nuts and crackers.
