Hot Chocolate: Winter at Sweets & Treats means one thing – Hot Chocolate. But not just any hot chocolate, our wintery warm drink is actually made from real chocolate! If you want something a little bit different, spice it up with one of delicious syrups like our amazing Turkish Delight Syrup.

Hot Nut Bar: We can promise you, they taste as good as they smell and they smell as good as they look! Our hot nut bar is the perfect way to warm you up from the inside with an amazing selection including cashews, honey peanuts and macadamias. You’ll be coming back for more!

Coffee, tea and Chai:  Whatever your preference of warm beverages we’ll have you covered. Since our renovation we have the added addition of our amazing new coffee machine which is guaranteed to satisfy even the toughest coffee snob!

Waffle Boats: Yes we admit, there is a bit of a chill factor with our scrumptious waffles with the addition of ice-cream but we think it’s worth it!

Chocolate: Event though our range of chocolate and choc-coated sweets isn’t hot temperature wise, there’s just something about these sweet sensations which seems to make us feel warm and fuzzy all over. Check out our huge range of goodies in store or online.

We have a new feature in our new store and it’s already proven to be a hit with our customers.

Our Round Table is a delight for little and big people alike with an eclectic variety of sweets and treats guaranteed to send your taste buds wild. 

We have deliberately added a bit of nostalgia with a few old favourites sprinkled throughout the table to give the Mum and Dads a little extra sweet trip down memory lane such as melody pops and toffee apples. 

The round table is a way for children of all ages to see a variety of sweets they perhaps have never seen before – and may never see again! We ensure that the table is always filled with a changing array of novelties to delight the kids and kids at heart.

Our theme today is Turkish – fresh in this week is a batch of hand made Turkish Delight – cubes of dusted, rose flavoured gooey deliciousness. Or have it chocolate coated and double the fun. Or warm up with an old fashioned cup of Hot Cocoa with a splash of Turkish Delight syrup – you can’t get much better than that.

All of this deliciouness is presented in our beautifully quirky Art Cups to add even more love to the experience. The Echidna design is one of the best so far!

We are now open!

After months of hard work and saw-dust the team at Sweets & Treats got their first look at our new lolly store, equipped with a new waffle machine and coffee machine – as well as all of your traditional favourites.

We can’t wait to share our brand new shop with you offering our customers more space, more atmosphere and of course, more sweets!

Same location in the heart of Richmond. Now with superb coffee and scrumptious waffles; and as always, service with a smile.

Come and visit, it’s just so amazing that it has to be seen to be believed!

The builders are in as we start our major renovations to extend our glorious Sweets & Treats lolly shop!

We are very excited to have benches, cupboards, sinks and all kinds of fittings going into our new look store today. 

We’ll be opening the first half in the next few weeks, so come and check out exciting new goodies – same location in the heart of Richmond.

We are constantly on the look-out for new flavours and taste sensations to serve our Sweets & Treats customers which is why we are so excited to announce two new (and very unique) flavours to our ice-cream palour range.

Our two new flavours are:

• Passionfruit Punch and Ginger Delight
• Bridstowe Lavender

They already seem to be a hit with the locals as well as our staff. Looking forward to seeing you in store to give your taste buds an icey treat.

At Sweets & Treats we pride ourselves on supplying Tasmanian made sweets to our customers. As well as supporting other local businesses, it is giving our visitors a taste of something different that they may not have had the opportunity to taste before.

Amongst the Butterballs and Peanut Brittle, by far one of the favourites in our Made in Tasmania range is the Giant Freckle shaped as a Map of Tasmania. This is a fantastic novelty item and a favourite ‘gift’ for people to take back home with them. Although, we have doubts if these giant freckles made it past the carpark with their amazing flavour!
